How do you think the ISIS situation should be handled? I know Germany just recently gave a bunch of weapons to the Kurds in Iraq, do you think this is a responsible approach?






I think there’s something to be said about how foreign intervention is treated as a foregone conclusion in middle eastern issues (and also how those acts of intervention are always co opted to serve western colonialist purposes. I think it’s kind of pointless for anyone in western society to encourage any sort of action outside of any humanitarian assistance they can give to the Kurds and other people in need.

Oh, yeah, because nothing but food and bandaids will stop ISIS dead in their tracks.
